Hello.
I'm student of Kainuu Vocational College and currently 3rd year student of Information Technology and high school.
Well I'm currently doing my graduation work with my friend but I'm wondering about this AVR-USB driver thingy along with hardware.
We are planning to do USB 1.1 Macro Controller (Like Logitech G15 keyboard macro keys) having 2-8 macro keys, start and/or stop key and Macro Recording indicator LED. More features maybe later when we have working unit.
Well currently I don't know about this driver thingy really. I tried read few documents but I didn't find my answer. So USB has Data+ and Data- lines. Where these are supposed to be connected or is it freely programable as Data- line is in interrupt pin?
And I wonder does this device need special written drivers than just HID driver because it has to record ASCII keys and movement keys. Currently we are planning to use ATMega16 microcontroller but we can use ATMega32 too because only difference is just bigger memory.
I thing this is pretty hard to do but hopefully we are able to do it. Help is welcomed with open hands and a simple example how to record keyboard keys.
Thank you
