timeout error on stk500

[ro16102003]

I am getting an error in the WinAVR IDE while downloading the program to the iRobot create command module
is there something wrong with my makefile
i have checked the serial com port number
i have updated the drivers
i am also pressing the reset button before clicking program, but the same error repeats.

com ports above 4 can't be simply written as com4

you need to write

//./COM10
