Hello everyone,

well I want to build HIDKeys, its really urgent.

The circuit should be okay there's nothing I could have done wrong,
checked it multiple times.

So it must be something about the IC...

(Im using windows if that matters)
I set the configuration on external crystal 1111 (all parts are the same as in the example),
and I burned the hexfile on atmega8 but when i plug it into my my pc (or any other pc) it says
unknown device found, and after a little while unknown device installed,

anyone knows how i can get it to be recognized as a hid-device? what did I could have done wrong?

I hope u can help me!

Assuming you made certain to use the right diodes. what are your fuse bits. Are you using avr-studio? USB is very time critical, make use your crystal is the clock you need, ( i.e 1200 and not 12.1 ) In some cases it does not hurt to scope it and make sure your running at the freq you think you are.

Hello!
I hope, what someone can help me? I am sorry for the English language! As soon as I write file HEX to Atmega8, and yet have not disconnected the device for writing HEX., I observed "HIDKey" on Windows. But when I have repeatedly included the device in to PC, I have seen "Unknown dewise". In what the reason? How correctly to expose configuration bits? I did not change bits on Atmega8, there were that has been established on manufacture.
Andrey.
