USB Transient Supressor instead of 3.6V zener

Somebody has tried some of those USB Transient Supressors?
I found those: NUF2221W1T2 and SN75240. The first one seems to be fine, but i don't know if they work.
The problem is that I can't find smd 3.6V zeners here in Uruguay (belive me is not a nice place to make electronics proyects), i just find 1W trougth hole, so after a search in ebay i've found those nice sot-wathever smd ic's.
I think they add extra protection to the usb pc-side.
(Please excuse me, my english is not good)
Regards.
