Is there any chance AVR-USB CDC will run on Vista in the future?

Great Work!
I have just tested it; it works perfect.
Now i can use AVR-Doper with AVR-Studio in Windows Vista.
Thanks a lot!

Hi Guys,

I am running the AVR-Doper in CDC mode on vista.

have installed the above drivers. they seemed to have gotten me a little closer to a working programmer.

AVR Studio 4.14 sees the programmer as an STK500 v2. it actually asks to upgrade from 2.04 to 2.0A - i say NO.

But after this it always fails to enter programming mode - what do i need to do to get it to work.

I also use Codevision AVR (a C compiler) - but this also says that it cannot enter programming mode on the STK500.

The AVR-Doper boards RED LED blinks for a second then goes off. then the error pops up.

I have not set any fuse bits on the ATmega8 - what do i need to set?

What do i set the SCK to? I have tried all avaiable speeds...

Matt
