v-usb as host for USB/Eth ?

v-usb as host for USB/Eth ?

I was thinking about providing cheap Ethernet connectivity through USB/ETH converter and V-USB. Did anybody tried that?

Cheapest converters support USB1.1, using Davicom 9601 chip, cost around 7 USD.

You need a USB host for that. V-USB is a USB device only.
