I'm on LB 6.9.5, and I can't figure out how to make a search template for HBOGO. First, it appears that the URL doesn't change when a search is performed, and second, on a show's own page, the URL appears overly individualized
Anyone have any ideas?
Thank you,
William
, ie, I don't know how to make a template with a *.Searching HBO or HBOGO

Re: Searching HBO or HBOGO
I've found the best way to create new search templates is to go to the site's main page, start the search, and enter 'test' for the search criteria. Once the search is completed, I copy the URL for the results and replace 'test' with '*'. For example, doing this search on the main HBO page returned this URL for me.
Code: Select all
https://www.hbo.com/search?q=test&page=1&size=5
Re: Searching HBO or HBOGO
Thank you, Greg. I made a template for HBO's main page (hbo.com) with your suggestion, and it worked. It requires clicking through to (and being logged into) hbogo, but I can't figure out how to create one for hbogo, so this will be just fine.
FYI, HBO.com seems to have become an info-only gateway to hbogo and hbonow.
I'll try your suggestion with other sites, too.
Thank you,
William
