Connection denied in "Silent-deny" but allowed (without notification) in "alert mode".

Postby bjohas » Tue Jul 03, 2018 6:52 pm

In google chrome, certain pages will not load. However, when I change the mode from "Silent-deny" to "alert", the page loads - but without a notification. Surely that must be a bug?

Anybody experienced this before?

I'm also experiencing the same issue. On YouTube with safari and Firefox.

I think it is a bug. I have a rule which allows outgoing TCP connections to remote port 80 and 443 for HTTP/HTTPS.
But Little Snitch still asks for permission when i try to use YouTube.
After switching to "Alert Mode", a dialog pops up and asks for my decision. Then i allow the connection and add new rules
which are shown as duplicates in the configuration window. In my opinion, this is a bug. And a very annoying and embarrassing one.
Please fix it guys. :(
