LaunchBar & 1Password
Re: LaunchBar & 1Password
I would also love to see Launchbar and 1Password integration! It seems that the 1Password developers would be amenable to working with the Launchbar people. How I imagine it would work is that Launchbar would work like the "Go & Fill" login menu. ie. you can search for the specific website on Launchbar and when you select it, it would open up your web browser, load the website, and then automatically log you in. If need be, you will be asked to unlock 1Password first (again, like the "Go & Fill" menu).

Hey Paul,
Just wanted to let you know that you can add this functionality by creating a Bookmarks Bar folder called "Logins" or whatever you want. Then drag in the logins from the 1password app to whichever folder you like in Safari. Then when you use LaunchBar to launch any of those bookmarks created from 1password, it will do the "Go and Fill" for you.
This may be obvious but it's been working great for me and I wanted to pass it on.

Re: LaunchBar & 1Password
Thanks for the tip! Unfortunately this trick is finicky and doesn't work for all websites, at least right off the bat.
I've been playing around with it and here's what I came up with:
1. The URL that's saved in 1Password makes a big difference. If the bookmark doesn't work, then try editing the URL that's saved in 1Password. ie. use http://www.website.com instead of http://www.website.com/welcome3.html. The "Go & Fill" option seems to be more flexible with the URLs.
2. Launchbar can read bookmark files in html format. Drag the files that you want to into Safari and then export those bookmarks. Edit the file in TextEditor to remove the URLs you don't want to include and then in Launchbar add a new "Web Bookmarks" -> "Custom HTML Bookmarks file..." and select the bookmarks file that you just exported.
I used a custom bookmark because I don't want Launchbar to index *all* of my bookmarks. Launchbar should have the ability to add individual URLs manually. I'll suggest that separately.

+1 for Launchbar and 1Password integration!
Re: LaunchBar & 1Password
Guessing this is dead now that Camino no longer seems to be supported with the MAS version of 1Password. Have any of the supported browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari) progressed to the point that they could replace Camino in this script?
Re: LaunchBar & 1Password
The script parses 1P files directly and Camino is only used for creating bookmarks, which are then indexed by LaunchBar and get opened in a default browser. So the script should still work
(I recently re-loaded my lappy with Lion from scratch, so I haven't tried it yet...)

Re: LaunchBar & 1Password
You're right... It appears to still work. My mistake... 1p doesn't need to support camino.
Re: LaunchBar & 1Password
+1, would also find this enormously useful. Using LaunchBar more and more as the default search interface for *all* my applications.

I know!! I'm temped to give Alfred a try now.
Re: LaunchBar & 1Password
Inspired by Alfred, I wrote up a script that very quickly exports your 1Password logins as an HTML file that LaunchBar can index.
