Two search parameters

Post by jacoblo33 » Wed Dec 10, 2008 11:03 am

I have tried to search on the forum but haven't found anything. Might be because I don't necessarily know what to search for or what it would be called.

But on some sites there are two search criterias and is there a possibilty to create a template for that?

One example is swedish site www.hitta.se. The first box is name (aa in the link below) and the second one is where (bb).

http://www.hitta.se/SearchMixed.aspx?vad=aa&var=bb

Any simple way of creating a template for that?

I don't think this can currently be done. With only a single input field, how would LaunchBar pass in the second input?

I think the only thing you could do is make one of the inputs static.

I was thinking

Hitta (search term) followed by Name, Where or Name @ Where or something similar. But I do understand it is a bit difficult...

I guess you could write a script that takes a comma-delimited list of inputs or some other format, parses them, and then assembles and opens the desired URL. But then it wouldn't be a simple search template.
