This is just a little recorded video teaser for all the people who were thinking ‘what happened to the major overhaul to webyep’ This little sneak preview shows how close its getting… and yes this is an actual site using the all new webyep-2 (with NO smoke and mirrors).

yeeees...great, Max! I am struggling so much with the current WY, I can't wait for the new one..!
(Can I ask you something regarding modifying CKEditor by adding plugins and problems making them show in the toolbar?)

CkEditor is probably my least favourite of the wysiwyg editors as I to have struggled to make things like plugins work or show up. Its a reason why I went down the commercial wysiwyg redactor route
I can have a go at helping you out but I can't guarantee i can solve your problem... but send me an email of what the issue is and I will have a go

Hi Kai
yep a lots happened since the first preview
the system has been developed further with new webyep elements such as webyep-markup text which is intended for area such as title tags or description tags. you can also use that one to insert lumps of code such as from vimeo or youtube.
The upload and image library for redactor is working and is controlled via the config file
theres also a few more controls within the config
Ive also finished the long text mini menu so it now looks like a mini version of the redactor controls
plus I have finally finished all the style so regardless which JS library you choose from within the config: Scriptaclaus, Mootools or jQuery the interface will look the same. At the moment I am in the middle of updating the freeway actions as there a bit of work there but its a all greeting closer

kind regards max

As a quick update Ive been testing the new system out quite a lot lately and whilst I was doing that did need to create a quick tutorial for someone.
It shows how to construct a quick tabbed area which contained dynamic content... whilst I was doing that I though it would be advantageous to see if everything worked correctly in conjunction with different javascript libraries and with the new system... so you will see that I use MoreCSS within the artwork. The system is using Mootools for the modal windows but it could have been jQuery or Scripty, but for this example I stuck with the Mootools... anyway included in the video is how to ad an image within the richtext area and how to you the floating menu within a longtext area.
This is a freeway tutorial but the end bit showing the new system dose give an idea of how the system is coming along.

kind regards max
ps this is a mp4 video download
