Client can't access web yep at his end

Post by anathema » Wed Feb 05, 2014 11:49 am

I've setup a simple site for an author friend with 3 web yep pages for him to access.

He says when he opens the padlock and put the username & password it doesn't allow him access to the area that he can change and add copy too?

Had an email last night having asked him to view through another web browser and he cannot now even see the padlock to get into web yep??

He's viewing via Chrome and firefox on a PC ( not sure how old the PC is)

any ideas?

Hi Anathema,
last one sounds like a CSS / positioning Problem ... can you post a link to the site?

And the Login ... hm, in 98% its a User-Problem.
Is he typing it? Or copy-pasting?
Have you tried a new User / PW in the konfiguration.php ...
And if he's using Chrome (relatively new Browser) I don't see a reason why it won't work.
