Multiple users, multiple logins

Postby OmarKN » Mon Sep 16, 2013 9:06 pm

Hi,
Can I have multiple users - each with their own page on the same site - and with multiple logins?

So
user A is on page N01 with login X
user B is on page N02 with login Y

Should be possible ?

with best regards,

I don't know if I get you right:
isn't that exactly what the Multi-User-Feature in WY does?

Hi imperfekt,

Yes thank you for your advice!

ok - found this in the UG:

”You can add more than one username/password pair if you want different
people to be able to edit different parts of the website.”

###Except for that I don't seem have the Config File Creator (WebYep File Creator action).
Where do I find the WebYep File Creator action?

In the Page/ Folder Actions, there is no WebYep File Creator action, as is stated in the UG p. 26

But I found this in the config file:
// Multiple Logins - additional logins for specific pages or groups of pages …

with best regards,

Hi OmarKN,
I never heard of a File Creator Action, but I don't use a WSYWIG-Editor to code.
Are you using RW?

I simply type the User-Info in the konfiguration.php (Line 24 - 34) in the System-Folder you found it already.
(Use a Code-Editor, so you're not messing up the Line-Encoding etc.)
Greetings from Berlin. :)
