IE10 problems

Post by tonylees » Sat Mar 16, 2013 5:47 pm

Hi,

I have just found a issue with webyep using FKEditor with IE10... you can login to webyep and click a rich text icon however there is no cursor and you are unable to type.. also no existing content is displayed.

This is due to the browser version check for ie.. the system is only expecting single digits but now we are on ie10!

here is the fix..
navigate to webyep-system/program/opt/fckeditor/fckeditor.js

Around line 307 you should find

Code: Select all

var sBrowserVersion = navigator.appVersion.match(/MSIE (.\..)/)[1] ;

comment this line out and add

Code: Select all

 var sBrowserVersion = navigator.appVersion.match(/MSIE ([\d.]+)/)[1] ;

That's it.. .fixed :o)

While I would love to take the credit for this fix I can't I found it on google

Code: Select all

I hope this helps

Cheers
Tony

Sorry everyone.. not quite as easy as that...

Code: Select all

This also needs to be done!

the file can be found in webyep-system/program/opt/fckeditor/editor/js/fckeditorcode_ie.js
