During a recent implementation of WebYep (1.7.2, latest as of post date) with CKEditor (3.6.4, latest as of post date) we had a requirement that seemed perfectly suited to the custom styles dropdown: Giving our users easy access to style some of their content in a particular format.
I followed the instructions on this page: Reference - Rich Text under Setting up the WYSIWYG editor.
I used the sample ckeditor_styles.js file provided, and uploaded it to the folder. I then refreshed my CKEditor window for some content: In Chrome the Styles dropdown went blank when clicked.
I then tried in Firefox with the web developer add-on console and get the following error on loading the content editor window:
Code: Select all
Error: uncaught exception: [CKEDITOR.resourceManager.load] Resource name "WebYepStyles" was not found at "http://localhost/webyep-system/program/opt/ckeditor/"/webyep-system/program/editors/../opt/ckeditor_styles.js"?t=C3HA5RM".
I then get the following error when opening the styles dropdown:
Code: Select all
Error: v is null
Source file: http://localhost/webyep-system/program/opt/ckeditor/ckeditor.js
I get the same error on local dev machine and live site.
The short term solution may possibly be to roll back to an older version of CKEditor, but has anyone else encountered a similar error, and may know a solution that I haven't thought of? It seems to be using the file, because when it's not there nothing happens. I tried updating the value "WebYepStyles" to something else like default and I get the same error, and even making the file completely blank throws the same error.
TIA to any recommendations
