Dropdownmenu (Vertical)

Post by rudi » Wed Jul 04, 2012 12:31 pm

Hello

I would like to do Something like This

-----------
> Topic (Background Color)
----------
> Subtopic inactive (Square Button, no bg color)
> Subtopic active (Arrow down, no bg color)
Item

I would like to control the various behavoiours seperatly. I try to adapt the Tutorial Preset of WebYep:

/* All anchor tags that are menu tree titles */
.MyMenu a.WebYepMenuTitle {
background-image: url(triangle.gif);
background-color: white;

}

/* Here I like to control the Submenu */
.MyMenu li li a.WebYepMenuTitle {
background-image: url(square.gif);
}

But what happens the li li a Tag overrides everything else as well. Instead of just affecting the Submenu. Why is that?

Thank you

Looks like I figured a Solution:

/* Submenu */
.MyMenu ul ul a:link.WebYepMenuTitle {
background-image: url(square.gif);
background-position: 30px 2px;
background-color: transparent;
}

I got this from another webpage. But I still don't understand why ul ul is used instead of li li.
