License question

Post by lavapen » Sun Mar 13, 2011 2:02 am

I am currently running WebYep in demo mode in a subdirectory (all pages and webyep-sytem are located there):
e.g. http://highvoltagerockandroll.com/highv ... yep-system

I would like to buy the license now. What hostname should I use?

Once the site is ready I will be moving everything (all pages and webyep-sytem folder) to:
e.g. http://highvoltagerockandroll.com/webyep-system

Just want to make my License doesn't get screwed up once I move it to the domain's root directory.

Thanks.

As long as you're still working on your site, you don't need a license at all.

The hostname you'd use for registering would be the name your site uses (highvoltagerockandroll.com).

When you move your site to the root directory, the paths will change and WebYep won't find any content you entered during development. To correct this, you'll have to edit the file /webyep-system/data/documents and adapt the paths in there.
