Styling Menu Items

Post by JanSmoot » Thu Oct 21, 2010 9:52 pm

Any one know how to modify the indent value for a submenu item? It looks like it defaults to 30 px or so, and we want something more like 10px. Seems like I should be able to set this somehow, but I can't figure it out.

I also use the following CSS:
.WebYepMenuCurrentItem
{ font-weight: bold; color: #556293; }
a:link, a:visited { color: #887E6E; text-decoration: none; }

What I want is for the current menu element to be blue (556293), but the page links are set to olive (887E6E) which overrides the blue for the menu. I want all other links on the page to be olive.

Any suggestions are welcome!! Jan

Hello Jan,

Regarding the indent value, try the following code:

Code: Select all

ul.WebYepMenu ul {
    padding-left: 10px;
}

Regarding the link color, it is possible to mark something as important. I think this will solve your second issue.

Code: Select all

.WebYepMenuCurrentItem {
font-weight: bold;
color: #556293; !important
}

a:link, a:visited {
color: #887E6E; text-decoration: none;
}
