Hi guys, i'm a bit of a code-novice

Anyone got an answer for pagination in WebYep?

I've developed an e-shop for my client using the loop element in WebYep. Works great only the client has put in way too many products on each page.
Check it out.

The page takes ages to load and the client wants functionality like eBay.

I'd love to implement some basic pagination.
Anyone know if it can be done?

goshdamo,

looks like Johannes already answered this here http://forums.obdev.at/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3265&p=11008&hilit=pagination&sid=49762d74c5d54957a43c3397d6d08e2b&sid=49762d74c5d54957a43c3397d6d08e2b#p11008.

It's not looking good, but I agree with you that pagination could be the next big feature from WebYep…

what a shame.

its a fairly common technique on the web, and clients being clients will put as much stuff on a page as possible then complain it's too busy.

A simple tick button on the loop element that would say 'Loop 10 items then paginate the rest' then have the ability to choose and customise a pagination style.

Sounds simple?

lets hope the webyep guys can tackle this in a future update.
