New to WebYep and need advice...

Post by AncientPerson » Tue Jul 27, 2010 5:08 pm

I have bought WebYeb, and seem to have installed it correctly. Now reached a grinding halt.
See http://www.website-control.com/webyep-system/info.php

What next ? How do I apply it to my website ?
Website = http://www.website-control.com which adds CMS code site-wide to property sites in Europe.
I wish to add WebYeb as an alternative - and I would then need someone to install WebYep for a fee.

Help appreciated.

How you incorporate WebYep into your web site depends on the web design app you are using to create your web site.

Please see the WebYep documentation for details:

Hello Johannes,
I was a Freeway long-time user until about 2 years ago when I transferred to using quality templates. I now realise I must use Freeway to gain access to its Webyep ACTIONS. I am doing that now.

If it works then I will make a demonstration page at http://www.website-control.com/services/webyep.html
The sales people in France will use that page as a demonstration and discussion point to English clients.
I sell CMS Builder via http://www.website-control.com and am pleased to find Webyep as a complimentary product.

I do not wish to get into Webyep installation for buyers - so I am searching for someone willing to do that.

Regards
Nicolas

Close to completion - but unable to finish the installation.
The saga is as follows...

I bought...
Webyep Actions Suite 9 Sept 2008 @ Euro 24.00
Webyep Licence + White label @ Euro 107.00

I have Freeway 5.4.2
The webyep-system folder is in the root directory.
Permissions have been set as required.

Your manual seems to be version 4 (2008)
The webyep-system folder is at root level

The URL of the page I want the Webyep demo files is...
... http://www.website-control.com/services/webyep.html...
... Question : may this may be the problem = it is not in webyep-system folder? )

BUT I am unable to make the ACTIONS SUITE work in Freeway - so cannot get Webyep to perform.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Hello Max,
Thank you for the offer to help but I will wait for a self-install version.

Hi Nick it is a self install if you want it to be just by double clicking on the action Icon... Although I would advice placing it in users~/Library/Application Support/Freeway5

Then on the next restart all the actions will be there to use

kind regards max
