Post by frode444 » Sun Apr 18, 2010 5:54 pm

hi
i a newbie to wepyep ...
but is there anyway that you can incorporate / embed the picture
from the image gallery thumbnail into you own page / site
instead of the pop up window ???

i want to press the thumbnail and then the given picture shows
up on the same page - no pop up :)

That's what Lightbox is for. Please see the WebYep documentation of the Gallery Element on how to add Lightbox to the WebYep installation.

but i don't want to use lightbox
since it kinda puts the images on top of the existing webpage

i want the pictures to be integrated into the webpage
and the opportunity to change those pic. within the webpage
kinda like a web gallery only it's integrated....

i made det design like this

http://www.wrysand.com/wrysand/illustrations.php

...and i want the oppertunity to change the pictures while they are integrated into the webpages...

You could create a page with a WebYep Loop and place a WebYep Image Element in it.

In that Image Element you upload the Thumbnails for the images.

You define a URL for that Image Element in your web design app - pointing to the page itself.

When you click one of the uploaded thumbnails it then acts like a WebYep Menu Element's item - it calls the page with a DOC_ID set.

If you place another Image Element outside the loop (e.g. above the thumbnails), you can then upload the big version of each image into that.
