Problem with iframes

Post by kralinator » Wed Apr 07, 2010 8:13 pm

Hi - I'm building a site: www.sharkalley.co.uk/earrings/earrings.php is the main page I need to get working.
So far, so good.
I am loading a page on the right into an iframe - the left hand side has thumbnails in a Loop which loads pages into the frame on the right when you click a thumbnail.

Problem: when I try and add new item to loop there seems to be a conflict - all that happens is the page reloads and nothing has changed.

If I remove the iframe it works fine, I can add, delete, move up and down etc.
I have made sure that the two loops do not share items with the same names.

As soon as another page is loaded into the iframe (this page also has a loop) all stops working…
Any ideas?
Cheers!
Phil

If two frames are both loaded with pages that use WebYep Elements, this can lead to problems in edit mode, as WebYep uses a cookie based mechanism to avoid double actions triggered by reloading a page (e.g. double loop block adding).

I'm afraid the only way around this is to reload the one frame before issuing a loop edit action (add/delete/reorder block) in it.

Thanks for reply - I've had to create both elements in their own iframes, within the main page - seems to work now!
Thanks.
