Attachment Element

Post by msabene » Fri Dec 11, 2009 5:24 am

I am trying to use an Attachment element to allow visitors to download a PDF file. Instead of initiating a download, I get a new browser tab showing the internal code of the PDF. This has happened using IE7, FF (Mac), and Safari (Mac).

Any suggestions about what I might be doing wrong or missing?

I would appreciate your help.

It could be a problem with the HTTP headers on that server.

Please post the URL of a page showing the problem.

I'm having the same problem with site I'm working with. Here is the URL: http://www.ywcaww.org/learn.php

I'm not able to upload an attachment and get a "connection timeout" code. The file size I'm trying to upload is just 987KB.

Any advice?

As your problem is with the upload (and not the download) it is a different one. To check what's wrong here, I would need the WebYep login credentials for that site and a page where I can upload something - please contact us directly via our support page and provide this information.
