HI Griz
the testing is done

I just now need to package it all up, get rid of anything that isn't needed (e.g. duplicate css) and thats it.
So the minute I am finished on a job which I am doing at the moment and testing the system on it then I can release wy2

kind regards max

Hi everyone
Update:
I have just about finished a project which used up a lot of my spare time and that meant I could not launch webyep2 until that was cleared.
So with that in mind I hope to launch WebYep2 at the beginning of July
Kindest regards Max

Hi Thomas
Mid this week we decided to implement a security improvement to webyep and the reason we did that was because an OLD asp.net (Nothing to do with the webyep system) site of ours on a decrepit old windows server got hacked and all the files were encrypted and we were sent a ransom which we will not and we will never pay... its taken us a week to rebuild the 5 sites from backups... but it did give us a bit of a scare. So with that in mind I hope everyone will understand that I wanted to upgrade the security of webyep
In past we had to set the Data folder via an ftp application to CHMOD 777 but
What I hope we have now is a way of leaving the data folder to CHMOD 755 (standard) and that folder will only become writable CHMOD 775 if you have the correct username and password and the minute you log off the data folder it reverts back to 755 (NOT writable) I am hoping this will help to make the system less vulnerable

Thomas could you contact me directly and I will see what we can do for you with your new site project

this is odd I think this had aleardy been implemented by the last releases given to us by OBD.. Did any one else noticed that you did not need to set the data folder to chmod 777
can any one else check this please

Hi Max,
I just heard from Will Woodgate that you can supply a WY 2 system for testing purposes. I downloaded his Rapidweaver stacks for WY 2 and would like to test the new version. Can I obtain a copy from you? I'll promise to report back how it works!
Best
Markus
