Sharity 2 cifslogin failure

Computers
=========
win2ksrv (Windows 2000 Server, DOMAIN1, 192.168.1.1/24)
win2003srv (Windows 2003 Server, DOMAIN1, 192.168.1.2/24)
rh3 (RedHat 3, Kernel 2.4, Sharity 2.9, 192.168.1.10/24)
t64 (True64, Sharity 2.6, 192.168.1.20/24)

Works fine on rh3, Sharity 2.9
==============================
cifslogin //win2ksrv/share1 -U user1 -P pass1
cifsmount //win2ksrv/share1 /path/to/mount1 -U user1 -P pass1
smbclient //win2003srv/share2 domain1/pass1 -U user1

FAILS on rh3, Sharity 2.9 (Problem #1)

cifslogin //win2003srv/share2 -U user1 -P pass1
cifslogin //win2003srv/share2 -U domain1/user1 -P pass1
cifsmount //win2003srv/share2 /path/to/mount2 -U user1 -P pass1
cifsmount //win2003srv/share2 /path/to/mount2 -U domain1/user1 -P pass1

Works fine on t64

ping win2ksrv
ping win2003srv
telnet rh3

FAILS on t64, Sharity 2.6 (Problem #2)

Sharity can't do file locking. If you have applications which rely on file locking, you currently can't use Sharity. Fortunately, file-locking is rarely used on Unix.

So what do we do if we still want to lock our files?
The files will be accessible to all if you do not do anything as security!
