Is this product live?

Post by jsaqwer » Fri Jan 30, 2015 6:25 am

We have been waiting for a real extensions gallery on the website for how long now? Website documentation for LB6 is still not available. Maybe it will be out by the time LB8 comes around.

These are concerning signs. What's going on with the lags here OD? We understand the resource constraints of a small company but the Alfred world feels vibrant while you guys can't update your website for almost a year after a new product launch.

+1 They should finally hire someone for community support, if the devs have no intention to do it by themselves. This is the official forum, but is there any question or request answered by developers? Why even bother to make support for self-written actions, if you don't even want to deliver an extensive documentation about how to write them in the first place? This is a quite mysterious company...

It is frustrating because I believe LB is by far the superior technical product in its space but is on track to end up the category Betamax due to a lack of support. Its ridiculous to have a website years out of date when the competition has this (http://www.alfredforum.com/topic/3730-p ... epository/).

+1. Objective Development really need to get someone for community support. The devs do respond to emailed requests for help, but that's not the same as encouraging users to make use of the forums, especially given that shareable workflows are supposed to be a major part of Launchbar. In that respect Alfred is way ahead.
