what if file doesn't appear with search

Post by cnpouwe » Mon Nov 19, 2007 1:57 am

I have a file that won't show up in any LB search, even if I use the name. Is there a way to get it to show up or to assign a shortcut?

I've tried navigating to it through folders to see if it might show up after.

1. If it is a new file, go to the configuration menu and rescan user files. Sometimes I have to spell out the whole name a few times before LB learns an abbreviation.
2. In LB Help, see 'Selecting Items' heading, 'Abbreviation Search'. The assign abbreviation command is 'Command-Option-A'.

Good luck.

Thanks, actually by trying that I realized that I excluded the folder I wanted from the configuration. Oops.
