New Bug in Display in Large Type URL?

Post by auctoris » Mon Jul 07, 2014 3:14 am

After updating to LB 6.0.2 and OS X 10.9.4, a few AppleScripts stopped working. I narrowed it down to the URL "display in large type" command. The AppleScript command for "display in large type" works fine, but the URL does not. It does not like the "/" character. Previously, it never had a problem with this.

For example, the following works fine:

Code: Select all

open location "x-launchbar:large-type?title=foobar&string=foobar"

However, if you add a slash to either the title or string, it does not work:

Code: Select all

open location "x-launchbar:large-type?title=foo/bar&string=foobar"

or:

Code: Select all

open location "x-launchbar:large-type?title=foobar&string=foo/bar"

It does not throw an error. It just doesn't do anything.

Can anyone else confirm this behavior?

Thanks

Yes, I confirm. I don't know if it's a bug or an intended behaviour. Anyway, you can use "%2F" to encode the slash ("/") character. For example:

Code: Select all

open location "x-launchbar:large-type?title=foobar&string=foo%2Fbar"

Thanks. At least I know it's not just me doing something dumb. :-)
