I'm looking for the app "forklift" using LaunchBar

I type an F and I get "facebook'

I type an O and I get "one drive"

How do I find "Forklift?"

Thanks for any help

You have a few couple options, Brian. The first is to type F and then down-arrow through the list of results until you come to Forklift. Once you do, hit return and LaunchBar should remember F = Forklift the next time. The other, related, is to enter F-O-etc faster. By default, LaunchBar gives a small window before deciding what you type is what you're looking for. I believe you can increase the window by bringing up the LaunchBar preferences and adjusting the Retype Delay on the General tab.

In LB preferences, increase retype delay to suit your needs and then search.

Also, check you own search query in the extreme right of LB to find what is it that you are making LB search.

Thank you very much. I spent another 20 mins and discovered the Retype delay. I find this quite annoying - 1) nowhere could I find in the company's "help" that explains this basic procedure or concept. It's too bad I had to ask this in a forum.

2) I think there is no need for this ..what does it serve? I don't want to remember application short cuts or abbreviations..just type in the first 2 or 3 letters of what I'm looking for and Launch bar should drill down for me.

Once again, many thanks for helping.

Thank you. How do you do such quality screen shots with the drop shadow?

Cmd-Alt-Shift 4, then instead of clicking, press space (the cursor turns to a camera), *then* click.

Basically, the standard screenshot function, but press space before clicking to turn it into a window capture mode.
