LaunchBar locks up on network setting change

Post by mediajolt » Tue Nov 06, 2007 7:09 pm

I just upgraded to Leopard on my 17" MacBook Pro, and now, whenever I try to switch network settings using LaunchBar (which I have done for quite some time now on previous versions of the OS), the machine locks up. No kernel panic, no messages - mouse stops moving, nothing responds - just dead. Leave it for a couple of minutes, still dead. Anyone else having this problem? Any way around it besides manually opening the Network prefPane?

Well unfortunately it must be some error on your machine, since I can't reproduce it. You might want to try deleting your LaunchBar-Preference files as this sometimes does wonders…

You could write an Applescript that opens that preference pane an start that :-/

Sorry I can't provide a true solution :-(

Ludwig
