"LaunchBar.app" would like to access your contacts.

Post by ryansebiz » Fri Feb 21, 2014 10:51 pm

I get these prompts each time I restart my Mac or logout/login to my accouont:

"LaunchBar.app" would like to access your contacts.
"LaunchBar.app" would like to access your calendar.
"LaunchBar.app" would like to access your reminders.
To use ClipMerge, LaunchBar requires permission to control your computer via Accessibility.

Here's an image gallery of all the prompts and my System Preferences:

As you can see, I have LaunchBar enabled in Privacy > Contacts/Calendars/Reminders.

I'm running:

  • OS X 10.9.1
  • MacBook Pro 15" Retina 2.7ghz (Late 2013)
  • LaunchBar 5.6.2 (1020)
Any idea how to prevent these prompts from appearing each time I start my Mac or login?

Reinstalling the app fixed the problem.

This is now happening to me as well. Following Ryan's post, I uninstalled LaunchBar, downloaded the latest version from the site (I was already using this version), and reinstalled LaunchBar.

It did not work. :-(

Ditto "To use ClipMerge, LaunchBar requires permission to control your computer via Accessibility." with LaunchBar 6.1.5
