LB doesn't use 'Natural' scrolling

Postby ptim » Tue Sep 11, 2012 1:11 pm

Hi, I've finally gotten used to 'natural' scrolling ala iOS (the default on Lion), and I'm often tripped up by the opposite behaviour in LB - can we have an option to reverse scrolling direction for single finger on the trackpad / magic mouse?

I have the same trouble, and would really love to have a solution! Thanks!

This still bothers me! Lion has come and gone; I'd love a fix, please!

Oh yes - this would be fantastic. Maybe it would be possible just to respect the setting in System Preferences, then we'd all win?

Yes, an option to set scrolling direction in LB would be fantastic!

Please fix this (respect the system pref option for scrolling direction), it shouldn't be a biggie.

Yep +1, bit jarring scrolling in Launchbar now.

I registered here just to help bump this thread.

I'm getting angry each time I scroll in LB and it goes the inverse direction.
This produces emotional stress. Stress lowers my life quality and can even shorten my life. That's not OK, LB shouldn't shorten my life!

I never noticed this until recently, with the LB6 beta. It makes me crazy. Is there no way to make LaunchBar respect the system scroll direction?
This definitely feels like a bug as it means LB operates completely differently than the OS... Help!

I was looking for a way to report this about LB6, since im considering moving to it from another launcher app. I was quite surprised finding this topic, first reported in 2011 and still not taken resolved.
The lack of updates was the reason I've stopped using LB before, I really hope they can learn how to listen to their customers because despiste simple, this is quite telling.

Ok, I see your point and the videos do help explaining your viewpoint about it.
Not sure it's be best solution though, it's like you're scrolling the selection instead of the list and, as an interface metaphor it isn't obvious. Now that i've see your videos I get it, and can perfectly live with it, but I still think that what we see in other apps, where the selection is static and the list moves underneath it's easier to understand.
