keyboard shortcut for spotlight search

Post by lpb2ha-me » Fri Mar 26, 2010 9:28 pm

OS X 10.6 has great keyboard shortcut configuration options, but i'd like more. perhaps LB can help out

e.g., when doing a search in mail.app. I would like a mouseless way to toggle between search parameters that are available on the search toolbar at the top, i.e.,
"from", "entire message", "to" , "subject"
So a shortcut would select "to", rather than one having to click on the button.

SImilar considerations apply to spotlight search in Finder, and throughout the interface.

To me this seems way outside the scope of what LaunchBar should be doing natively. You might be able to write an AppleScript to do it, and use LaunchBar to run the script.
