iTunes Indexing on External Drive

Post by Skidmark » Thu Apr 12, 2007 6:10 pm

With iTunes 7, it's now quite easy to store the entire iTunes folder on an external drive. LaunchBar, however, doesn't recognize it and doesn't allow me to change where it looks for the iTunes Library.

Can this be explained, addressed or fixed? I am posting here because ObDev support didn't answer my email. :x

This issue will be addressed in the final version of LaunchBar 4.2

Was this ever fixed? I've got 4.3.7 and I'm not seeing any of my iTunes Library contents being indexed. I'm storing my library on an external network drive and no amount of scanning seems to pick anything up.

Add multiple library indexing

As itunes and iphoto now allow for multiple libraries, it would be great to have the ability to select these in the configuration of LB…

And to have the ability to browse the content, or lauch a precise one, even if it is not the last active.

Is it on your plans?
