Suggestion: capture shell output

Post by quinncom » Wed Sep 02, 2009 9:16 pm

Running shell scripts in the background is a great tool, but how to capture/display the output?

    1. Add output to the clipboard
    2. Send output to a growl notification
    3. View with Quick Look
These could be executed with different command key options.

It would also be good to be able to set the default execution method. I would prefer to have the default be: background execution with growl notification.

I agree, this would be useful for us users. Will this be implemented?
