Firefox History

Is there anyway to have Launchbar search Firefox's history?

LaunchBar 4.2 will be able to index the history of all Mozilla based web browsers (Mozilla, Firefox, Camino).

When can we expect v4.2? I'm using Launchbar all the time and I fear you drop this product due to high competition with "free" products (QuickSilver and the upcoming Leopard). Seeing new version would reassure me.

Cheers,

There are no plans to drop LaunchBar. The 4.2 version will be released very soon.

Excellent news, and being on the ADC Seeding program I can just say that Spotlight in Leopard does a good job as a launcher, but allt the other features of LaunchBar is still very much needed in 10.5. QS is noting I would use. I want the simple complexity that is LaunchBar. It is the only piece of software on my MAcs I could not live without. Keep up the good job!

Will 4.2 also see interface improvements? As much as I love Launchbar, I find the interface somewhat tiny, especially on larger screens.

Not yet in 4.2. But we are working on an improved interface that will be introduced with a later version.

Thanks very much for the quick reply, and great to hear you're working on the interface. Any timeframe as to when to expect this (if you don't mind me asking)?

Thanks!

Thank you for adding Firefox/Camino history support, and for the forums, too.

Cheers

Interface refinements are planned to be implemented in the course of making LaunchBar ready for Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard in terms of resolution independence.

Also if you'd like beta testers, I'd love to help.

That's great news. Not to push our luck, but any chance you'd be willing to let us know what sort of UI improvements are being contemplated/developed?
