Mojave Beta and Safari Bookmarks

Hey all, I've got a test machine running MacOS Mojave 10.14 beta 18A314k, with Safari Version 12.0 (14606.1.20.40.3) and the latest Launchbar 6.9.5 (6163). Seems there's no Launchbar nightly builds at the moment.

Problem is Safari bookmarks are no longer indexed. Indexing progress shows nothing, nor does console. Any known tricks? Or new development needed?

I have the same problem.

I tried Alfred too, same problem.

Leads me to think Safari is the issue.

Getting really close to the time when Apple ends their betas.

Is this going to be broken forever?

The issue is with how Mojave handles privacy settings. It is fixed with Alfred (the beta version 3.7) by adding Alfred full disc access in your Security & Privacy settings.

Im not comfortable doing that because of various workflow which could be untrustworthy but for now, that seems the only way

The same works for LB, just add it to allow full accesss. That's just how it works in previous OSes. It's Apple that has changed the security model, you don't expose any more data to LB than you've done -> high sierra.

I'm also experiencing a similar issue. Seems like safari is causing this problem. I hope somebody will come with a suitable solution.

Allowing LB to have "Full Disk Access" in Security & Privacy settings (as suggested by veke71) fixed it for me.
