How to restore Launchbar from Time Machine

Post by Allan Rau » Sat Dec 16, 2017 12:35 am

Don't ask me how, but Launchbar is gone from my mac laptop. I have been using Time Machine so I should be able to easily restore it. Other than that the Launchbar application itself what other files do I need to restore? I'm assuming there's some support files, logs, preferences, etc. Should it make any difference I have not upgraded to High Sierra. Still at Sierra and remaining cautious before taking the plunge.

P.S. Can't pin it down, but I think Clean My Mac deleted it. I know I used it to delete a program call MacTubes just the other day. And right after that is when I noticed Launchbar was missing.

LaunchBar’s preferences are stored in ~/Library/Preferences/at.obdev.LaunchBar.plist
Just about anything else that you would want to restore (rules, habits, actions, …) is in ~/Library/Application Support/LaunchBar
