select multiple items?

Post by tjevans » Fri Dec 14, 2007 3:36 am

I recently came to LaunchBar after years with Quicksilver. I have found LB to lean a little more toward the apple philosophy of simplicity than QS. One thing I miss, though, is the ability to select multiple items. Is there a way to do this that I just haven't found yet?

I don't think LaunchBar can currently select multiple items (like Quicksilver's comma syntax).

However, LaunchBar can act on multiple items dropped on the bar with the mouse or on multiple selections from the Finder with the Command-G key combination.

For example, select multiple items in the Finder, activate LaunchBar, and hit Command-G. The selected items appear on the bar and can then be handled as you would normally do in LaunchBar.

Hope this helps.

Note that you can also select the items, then press and hold spacebar to select the items in LB.
