Can you assign shortcuts to open apps

Post by cmscss » Sun Apr 17, 2016 5:22 am

Hi There,

In LaunchBar, can you assign a shortcut to open an app? e.g. CMD + P for Photoshop. Or do you have open LaunchBar first, then type CMD + P?

Hope that makes sense.

Cheers

No, you will need to first activate LaunchBar, then type your abbreviation assigned to the app. Also, I'm pretty certain that the abbreviation must consist of alphanumeric characters only, so while P can be assigned as an abbreviation, command-P cannot.

Thanks heaps I was looking for an alternative to Quickeys now that development seems to have stopped over the past few years.
