Taskswitcher and directly maximize an minimized App

Post by t_klein » Fri Feb 26, 2016 12:20 pm

Hi,

can anyone please give me an advice to handle the following example right!? I ask because if i solve this problem i can get rid of the Dock, which i still only use to maximize an App... :)

    1. I minimize Apple Mail with [CMD] + [M]

    2. I open Launchbar with [CMD] + [SPACE]

    3. I open the Task-Switcher with [CMD] + [R] or [CMD] + [SPACE] [SPACE] and select Mail

As i see in the Menubar the Task switched to Mail, but Mail is still minimized.

Is there a way to switch to a minimized Application within Launchbar and maximize it when selected!?

Thanx in advance.

Thomas

I hide apps instead of minimizing them, so one option would be to use cmd-H in Step 1 and when you switch back to the app it will become visible again.

@Greg

Hi and thank you very much for your very quick and helpful advice.

Really - i didn't know the [CMD] + [H] shortcut until your post and for me it's a game changer!

Thank again and kind regards!

Thomas
