General discussions about LaunchBar

In the documentation for LaunchBar I see the following:
The Schedule pane
In order to keep the index up to date, index updates should be performed either manually, periodically (at regular intervals) or automatically. Note that this indexing schedule can be configured individually for each indexing rule in the Schedule pane of the index window.
But, the Schedule Pane seems to not be present in Version 6.5 (6122).
I would very much like to reduce the indexing frequency. LB now indexes about once per minute and causes my aged 2009 Mac Mini to really slow down; almost to a halt.
Any solution for this?

Same here - the indexing in Launchbar 6 is using TONS of CPU. It's running down my battery. I'd really like to option to adjust how often it indexes.

I agree. This constant reindexing is insane, and Objective Development seems uninterested in doing anything about it. This program is not seriously supported any longer.

An indexed rule in LaunchBar can be triggered for re-indexing by several reasons, but mainly because some modification on the indexed items has been recognized by the systems fseventsd notifications.
Perhaps you can try to narrow down such constant re-indexing to certain file/folder indexing rules?
