[LB6 Action] Text Expander Snippets

Post by facetheheat » Mon Mar 30, 2015 11:16 pm

Hi!
This is simple Text Expander action for using snippets.
I know about 'Suggest Matching Abbreviations' shortcut in Text Expander preferences, but I want to get integration with LaunchBar.

Thanks for the action, helps a lot, but text expander is still far behind Phraseexpress for windows. Recognizing inline is soo much easier and faster.

Thanks for creating this action, but I can't install it. I download the lbaction file to my desktop, double-click it, and get an error message, "The LaunchBar Component could not be extracted."

I'm new to LaunchBar but I have successfully installed one other action. So I don't think I'm doing this wrong.

Hi, Mitch.

I've checked this action on LB6.5, El Capitan 10.11 with Text Expander v5.1.2.
All works for me.

Do you enable LaunchBar in -System Preferences - Security & Privacy - Privacy - Accessibility:
+ LaunchBar.app
+ Text Expander Helper.app
+ Text Expander.app
+ LaunchBar AppleScript Runner.app
?

Enabling "LaunchBar AppleScript Runner.app" in Accessibility worked.

But I see now that the action does not search the full text of the snippet, just the shortcut. So I see it's not what I'm looking for.

Thanks anyway, though!
