[LB6 Action] Keyboard Maestro Macros

Dependencies & Requirements: Installed and running Keyboard Maestro
Known Issues: If Keyboard Maestro Engine isn't running, the action is unable to fetch macros.

The action lists all macros available in the current context. Convenient access to the macros is possible just by browsing the Keyboard Maestro application (using the right arrow or space key). Return triggers the selected macro. Needless to say: The list of macros supports LaunchBar's abbreviation search (to narrow down the list) and Instant Open (to open the macro of choice even quicker) as well.

I'm not a Keyboard Maestro power user so, if there are things to improve let me know!

Thank you for putting this together, manfred. Very cool how the action automatically filters the list of available macros based on Keyboard Maestro's contextual rules.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!
I've been asking for this since the Launchbar 6 intro. This is very nice!

Extremely useful. Thanks!

One problem though: It's "blocking" meaning if you activate a KM Macro, Launchbar won't close until the macro ends.

I have several macros that take a few minutes to run

Thanks much! One question — can I search macros directly, or do I need to search for keyboard maestro first, then select a macro?

That's a know issue, we need to fix that in LaunchBar. I will update the action as soon as we've released an update for LaunchBar.

They are not in LaunchBar's index, the action is fetching them each time (to ensure to list only the currently available ones). Which means you need to start by selecting Keyboard Maestro first.

Updated action to v1.1. LaunchBar is no longer blocking while executing an macro.

Great work, Manfred, but it looks like if you select the Keyboard Maestro app in LB and hit the right arrow you get the exact same thing!

Only if the action is installed. LaunchBar Actions can optionally specify an associated application, in this case Keyboard Maestro. That's the reason you see macros when browsing the action but also when browsing Keyboard Maestro itself.

Ah, I see! I don't have the action installed on my work computer, and right arrow on Keyboard Maestro.app shows the metadata and bundle contents. But on my home computer, even with the action disabled, it adds the functionality to the app when selected in LB. Very useful to know when dealing with actions in the future. (And how would I get the ordinary info for the app, if the action overrides it? Presumably a modifier key + right arrow?)

Works great. Thanks. KM has something like this built in, but the window is uglier, and I always forget the keyboard shortcut for it, so it's nice to trigger from LB with a simple "kmm".

Just wanted to add my "Thank you" to the rest. This is awesome and something I was really hoping someone would create.
