A post over in the Keyboard Maestro forums (https://forum.keyboardmaestro.com/t/trigger-any-specific-km-macro-instantly-via-launchbar-action/8564/8) describes how to instantly trigger any Keyboard Maestro macro via a LaunchBar action.
I have a KM macro that copies a phone number off my clipboard, and sends it over to a VOIP app (Mitel), pasting it into the "dial" field and hitting Enter to dial the number.
I tried creating a custom LB action to invoke that macro (using the instructions at the link above) and then tie it to the default phone number action in the LaunchBar settings, so I can hit return and have my Mitel app dial the number. I get this error, though: "The script does not implement a handler named "handle_string".
I did find a post in the LB forums https://forums.obdev.at/viewtopic.php?t=9241, which mentions this error and seems to predate the Keyboard Maestro post, but I have no idea how to use the info in the post, such as where the plist file is.
I'm also not sure if the phone number based by LB will be viewed as a clipboard item, which is what the Keyboard Maestro macro looks for.
If anyone has any suggestions, I would be very appreciative. Thanks! (I posted this same question over in the KM thread, too, but haven’t gotten any responses)
