OS X Mavericks

Post by cvanmeer » Tue Jun 11, 2013 12:54 pm

Hi guys,

Could you give me an estimation on when you would have a nightly build available for use with OS X Mavericks?
The current version (3.1) fails to start on 10.9 and constantly gives me popups on to check for new versions.
Kind of annoying, but that - of course - is the price you pay as a OS X developer for using a build version in such an early stage ;)

Kind regards,

Chris

I would very much appreciate this as well - please nightly asap! Anyone know how to get Snitch going on 10.9?

The installer fails to install on OS X 10.9 saying It needs version 10.6 or newer.

You can force a install modifying the file "/System/Library/CoreServices/SystemVersion.plist", and changing "10.9" to "10.8", I tested It here and It worked.
However, before I rebooted I changed the file back, and after the reboot Little Snitch failed to launch complaining about the version again.
I didn't test changing the file again but I assume It should work.

Please update you installer/version checker to include 10.9, a nightly even.

I would also like to see this. It would be nice if people added to this thread to express our interest in this so it gets noticed. Little Snitch is my only incompatible app at this point.

I'll throw my hat into the ring as well. Would love to see an update with support for 10.9!

Yes, please — I too hope to see a 10.9-compatible nightly build or some communication about a timeline ASAP.
Thanks!

+1 for a compatible build - without this I'm holding back from running the DP - even though it has many advantages I don't like third party software being able to do as it pleases in the background...

Let's hope that the change will be easy... as many products seem to crash on 10.9... Viber, new Skype, mplayerx...
