I installed Mountain Lion DP 2.

Remarkably, everything worked fantastically well and I have
about 50 major apps installed. Everything from Photoshop CS
to Snapz X Pro worked perfectly....

...so did Little Snitch. It imported all my rules without a hitch.

However, the one thing that went wrong was my email.

It would not work with my Verizon Fios SMTP account. Just could
not get Apple Mail to send out a single email.

Real shame. It looked as if DP was stable enough to use as an
everyday operating system, but in the end, it was Mail that killed
the Mountain Lion.

Fortunately, I did a backup and restored using Super Duper.

Thank you, Objective Development for the beta availability
of Little Snitch.

I'm running the seed version of Mountain Lion (10.8) and the installer gives me an error message.

"Little Snitch 2.5 isn’t compatible with Mac OS X 10.8.

This version of Little Snitch cannot be installed on Mac OS X 10.8.
Please check our web site at www.obdev.at for a compatible version of Little Snitch."

There is a version at: http://www.obdev.at/products/littlesnitch/download.html that will work.

hi, after back from Holidays, i installed DP2 on ML DP2, but i lost the Playback of Flash-Videofiles in Safari.
Disabling all Rules for Safari does not help.
Only disabling the complete LittleSnitch helps me to get the Playback again.

Have to go back to Ver. DP1 for Playback Flash-Video in Safari.

Can Anyone confirm this ?

Thx... Rene

I'm running the "Expiring Demo" version on Mountain Lion now. Everything seems to be working fine, but I'm wondering if there will be a version that recognizes my license before this one expires.

Rene contacted us via email. Indeed it was a bug in Little Snitch and is fixed with Developer Preview 3.
