Turn of Network Monitor altogether?

Post by USARebel » Wed Oct 12, 2011 4:25 pm

Why does the Network Monitor always turn on when I switch volumes?

I never use it, so It's turned off on my laptop drive. But if I boot to any of my external clones, it becomes active and pops up immediately. If I turn it off then boot to my laptop drive, it's on again!

Can't this be fixed?

Always the most recent - currently 2.4.4.
It's been this way as long as I can remember.

There is nothing wrong with the drives, and it happens on every one of my bootable drives.
If I boot to an external drive, Network Monitor will be active. If I then boot back to my laptop drive, Network Monitor will be active, even though it was not enabled before booting to the external drive.

Can I get an answer from a mod, please? It's been 2½ months since I posted the issue.
