Snow Leopard 10.6.4 Little Snitch 2.3.1 hangs after login for me as well. Boot into Safe Mode and removed LS.

this is the only relevant log that I could find...

While 2.3.1 fixes the problem for nearly all users who have reported the issue, it seems that some of you still experience a hang before or during login. In fact there are so few who reported the problem that we don't have enough information yet.

So please, if you still encounter this issue with 2.3.1, get in contact with us using our support form so we can track down your particular problem and try to get it solved.

When LS 2.3 was installed there was a hang on shut down.

When LS 2.3.1 was installed today Oct 22, 2010 there was still a hang on shut down.

( iMac - late 2009 edition - Snow Leopard )

going back in time to version before 2.2 because i can't afford to lose my midi/audio production.

Unfortunately version 2.3.1 didi not resolve the issue for me either and I've had to revert to version 2.2.4 for the time being. Let's hope this one gets resolved soon.

I will resubmit the info via a support email again.

Regards, Chris.

I am confused because at this post viewtopic.php?f=1&t=4958&p=16358#p16358 it sezs that LS 2.3.1 fixes the problem.

Well that was the version i installed on Oct 22 and it "hung" SnowLeopard.

Should that not be numbered LS 2.3.2 ?

We need some help/clarification from the boss here please.

Walter, Chris,

As I've mentioned in my previous post, version 2.3.1 resolved the problem for virtually all affected users.

If you experience a hang nevertheless, we invite you to contact our tech support to figure out the cause of your particular problem and to get it solved. Maybe it's a specific hardware or software configuration that's responsible for the problem. So we would really appreciate you contacting us so we can track down any remaining incompatibility.

Will do. It'll probably turn out to be an obscure conflict with some other third party software I'm running. In any case it's an interesting problem and the support response has been excellent.

2.3.1 hangs on boot up for me too. Disconnecting Ethernet didn't help. I do have AirPort setup in this room too so it's possibly gone online that way. Safe Boot has worked and I'm now looking to extract Little Snitch. A disappointing first experience with this product.

I am experiencing extremely extremely long long shut downs. In fact last nite the shut down was so long that i was just going to press the on button when my iMac ( late 2009 edition ) finally shut down.
