mDNSRespnder and fwdr-12.fwdr-0.fwdr-252.fwdr-71

LS started showing themDNSResponder process connecting to fwdr-12.fwdr-0.fwdr-252.fwdr-71 (72.252.0.12.) I did a "Whois" and found it was Verizon Internet Services Inc. So I blocked it. LS says "Deny connections to fwdr-12.fwdr-0.fwdr-252.fwdr-71" But the next day the connection showed up again. So I did a "Deny any connections to ..." When I examine the rules in the Configuration they are both the same. So I don't understand why LS didn't catch this the first time.

By the way, I found out that this address was also added to my Network Preferences as a DNS server.

Yes Verizon is my ISP. But prior to this the only DNS name in my Network Configuration System Preferences was the router's address. I checked the router and it has the SAME DNS server address (71.252.0.12.) So it seems that I have the same address in two different places - router and systems preference. Just don't understand.
